Dear Members of the Promotional Coordinating Committee,
The SLO Beaver Brigade wishes to express deep gratitude for your subcommittee recommendations for an award of
$5,000 for the second annual SLO County Beaver Festival to be held on March 23, 2024 at Mission Plaza. Although we
are not able to be present at today’s committee meeting, we express our thanks for this award, as well as for the
description of our event for today’s meeting agenda which is: In its second year, this highly collaborative event seeks to
share the benefits of beavers though activities, speakers, music and more. We are please that the subcommittee
recognized our deep commitment to collaboration and that the City of San Luis Obispo will so generously support the
success of the SLO County Beaver Festival of 2024.
