The ware rates for any classification not listed in the £oregoinr schedule
of hourly waged .all be the prevailing waves for each work.
The foregoing schedule of hourly wages is based upon a working day of
8 hours. The rate for overtime work shall be at time and one-half and double
time for legal holidays. Forty hours shall constitute one weeks work.
Each bid shall be made out on a bid form obtained from the City Clerk,
City of San Luis Obiapo, California.
EACH BID SHALL BE ACCOMPANIED BY A CERTIFIED CHECK, CASHIERS CHECK OR

SECTION 12. CONSTRUCTION DETAIIS ( SHUFFL,EBOAAD COURTS)
1. GFTffitAL
A shuffleboard court is similar in construction, to a well constructed sidewalk
except that more attention shall be paid to securing a level and saoeth surface.
The concrete shall be placed in two layers- a base layer and a finish wearing
layer.
2. R=NFCRMCNT
A. Material
Reinforcement shall be wire mesh reinforcement of volded wire fabric
composed of b gage wire spaced at 4-in. centers.
b. Placement
The reinforcement shall be placed at a level 2.in, below the finish surface.
3. CONCRETE Nix
a. Base Layer
The base layer shall be constricted of a 5- wk mix, pisce 3-in, thick:.

The wearing or playing layer mix shalt be as follows: Ono (1) part of
Portland eemet.t, one (1) part of clean sand, and one end three-quartors (1 3A) parts
