Upon arrival T2 established command and began investigating location. BC3 assumed command and established T2 as Div C at the preschool. T2 confirmed assisted relocating children and teachers to a adjacent church for safety. Upon finding safe working location, T2 stretched hose line to extinguish small smoldering fire in the leaves at the base of the power pole. No threat or other hazard from fire noted. Upon other units being released, T2 remained at scene to isolate entry into area at house where cause originated from weather-head being knocked over by construction crew. Upon PG&E deeming that area safe FF2 returned. T2 assisted teachers, and parents retrieving their children's belongings. Upon completion of cutting power to drop T2 terminated command, cleared incident. Additional Narrative (#1 of 2 ): E4 responded code 3 to dispatched address for a report of an unknown electrical fire. E4 arrived at scene to find BC3 and T2 on scene establishing command and sizing up the scene. BC3 assigned E4 to DIV A with primary objective to evacuate structure, isolate area and protect exposures. E4 made contact with resident at structure where the down power lines were on. Resident was escorted across the street to safe location. E4 extended a hose line to backyard where a small vegetation fire was smoldering. E4 extinguished fire on DIV A side. Isolation tape was put up on A side. Once smoldering fire was extinguished E4 was released by IC and returned to station without incident. Additional Narrative (#2 of 2 ): Reporting Party info: Works on scene claimed that they were working around power line drop to house when the weather head fell over unexpectedly then started sparking.
