Hello,
I was shopping at one of my favorite small businesses yesterday and cha?ng with the owner. She said her business is
falling off due to the new parking costs, which her customers keep complaining about. A friend of hers, also with a local
business is telling her the same and is worried about her survival. When I suggested she report this, she felt shy about it

and didn’t want to call a?en?on to herself (which is why I’m not men?oning names). I love our downtown but it is
already suffering. I would hate to see it become nothing but chain stores. I implore the city council to rec?fy the parking
situa?on.
Thank you for your a?en?on to this ma?er.
