Yes I am frustrated with the downtown parking.
First: I cannot believe I need another app for my cell phone just to be able to park my car. I've already had to take apps off
my phone because it was too full to do what I wanted.
Second: There has been way too much confusion in how to use the apps to park. You can't use your phone to recall your
license plate as well as use it at the same time to pay for parking and the instructions are not user friendly for most of us
over 60 yrs old (and I'm a lot over 60). Don't you want our business?
Third: If I was enjoying an afternoon of shopping (or anything else there), but hadn't paid in advance for the extra time I'd
have to go back to where I parked my car to either pay for more time or go home. Guess what? I'd go home.
Fourth: Finding the kiosk is taxing and probably more of a walk than getting to my goal area, especially if I went the wrong
way the first time.
Fifth: Why would we want the banks to make money off of our being able to park to use the downtown area? I'd rather
spend the money downtown than give it to them.
Sixth: We want visitors from out of town to use the downtown area. If they run into these problems, they're more like to
take their business elsewhere.
I used to volunteer my time and talent to the Farmer's Market, but no more. Have you guessed it yet? I no longer go
downtown.
