In a subsequent Zoning Code update adopted by Council on August 20th, 2013 (Ordinance No. 1591), these previously adopted land use classifications were inadvertently left out of sections of the ordinance which was adopted by Council. Though it is clear that it was not Council's intent with the adoption of Ordinance No. 1591 to remove the land use classifications, Liquor store /Alcohol Sales, and Restaurant with late hour alcohol service, as a matter of procedure, the land use classifications should be included in tonight's action (PH3 Amendments to Municipal Code Title 17, Zoning Regulations) to reestablish them formally in the Municipal Code. Staff will provide a slide during the presentation illustrating the needed correction which will be included when the final ordinance returns to Council for a second reading and potential adoption. The legislative draft changes are shown in the attached Table 9 section. Please contact Brian Leveille at 781 -7166 or a bleveille@slocity.org if there are any questions.
