Subject:Frustration for parking fees in downtown SLO

To Whom it May Concern,
I am sending this email to voice my frustration with the parking fees increases in SLO. We've watched them increase
hourly, times of day and then adding Sundays. I've been to other large cities and they don't charge the same for parking
and they don't charge on Sundays.
It's getting too expensive to come downtown and I know from business owners they are feeling the crunch as I'm not
the only one that feels this way. We want to come downtown to support businesses but it's getting really pricey. For
instance my daughter had an all day volleyball tournament so I parked at the 10 hour parking by Mission school and I
spent over $27 in parking because the neighborhoods were already booked up. That's ridiculous to have a parking spot
3 blocks out of downtown but not wanting to get a $35+ ticket.
I hope that you reconsider the price per hour, and possibly letting families park for Free on Sundays again. We are all
trying to make it here in SLO so I feel that members of the City Council need to pay attention to everyone and their
budgets.
Thank you for your time,
Cindy Mayr
