Subject:Parking is too confusing, especially for seniors

Hi,
I’m pre?y good with computers and phones. However, I haven’t been able to figure out how to use the Park Mobile
app. I tried the other day at a meter. Nothing happened. I guess that par?cular meter wasn’t enabled for the app. I
had to use a credit card. My wife doesn’t have a parking app. She parked in Palm St Parking and didn’t know how to
pay. She thought that it was free. There are confused people hovering around the parking kiosks. They ask passersby
and homeless people for help. Nearly everyone is mad and confused before they even get to the price increase. The
meters should be standardized. They should all have the same maximum ?me. The apps should work on all of them and
they should be simpler to use. Scan a code on arrival and departure from a parking space. Simple. We shouldn’t have
to put ?me on an app like it was a legacy parking meter. It should just charge us for the ?me we use, like the legacy
parking structures do.
Thank you,
Jim Sievert
