Use caution when deciding to open attachments, click links, or respond. To all members of the city council, What you folks have done in the category of parking changes had changed the game as far as locals are concerned. I for one will not be patronizing any of the downtown businesses because other than for a quick stop, the parking fees are disproportionate to the value. Dining invariably requires more than an hour (an extra $8). Movies, 2 plus hours (possibly $12). Several restaurants have already closed, Nordstrom Rack is now open. What were you thinking? The anticipated additional revenue will be offset by lost revenue from business taxes. And we, as citizens of the county are losing our downtown. If you care at all about the future vitality of downtown, please reconsider your actions and roll back to the previous formula, with the possibility of some minor changes. Sincerely, Ron Viola 1
