Please add me to the list of residents unhappy with the parking situation in downtown SLO. It’s such a beautiful
downtown but I hardly ever go there because of the cost of parking. Usually I will park outside of downtown and take a
nice long walk but feel bad taking up street parking for those neighborhoods.
Also, paying in advance at the parking structures is not ideal. Not sure how long I will need and sometimes have to skip a
nice store because my time is running out.
My biggest concern is for the businesses. Seems like a lot of them have closed down. One can blame the economy but
this parking situation is certainly not helping them.
Thank you for serving your community- it’s not an easy job but appreciate that you’re willing to do so. Please reconsider
these high parking fees. Residents are letting you know how they feel about them.
