Use caution when deciding to open attachments, click links, or respond. My husband and I are homeowners in Morro Bay, where we have been enjoying our retirement for the past 15 years. Until fairly recently we had made at least weekly little trips to the city of SLO. We enjoyed shopping at the many local shops along Higuera, popping into the Apple Store, dining at our favorite restaurants all while parking in the Palm St. parking or often just along the main streets of the city which provided ease of access made the outing fun and easy. Not any more! The additional $$$ and complications to park our car is just not worth the trip. We did check into the SLO bus schedule and it appears that they only run ever 3 hours from Morro Bay to and from SLO and this definitely does not at all suit our typical shop and dine agenda. Because of the rise of parking $$ "privileges" and changing complications to park in the city, we have not returned to SLO in well over 4 months for any reason. A return to SLO to do our shopping and dine is no longer in our future plans. We will continue to go out of downtown SLO to do our business where parking is much more convenient and definitely less expensive. Please consider eliminating, or at least easing the many new fees, rules and regulations for parking in SLO city and return to the previous arrangements for visitors and patrons. We do want to return! Kaaren and Steve Perry' Morro Bay 1
