Dear Mr. Mayor, Vice Mayor, and Council Members,
I am writing to protest the high prices that have been recently instituted for parking in downtown San Luis. I was
charged $8 as a minimum charge in the parking garage. I actually only needed 20 minutes to complete my purchase.
This is an outrageous price. It causes me to seriously consider NOT coming to SLO for anything. I want to support local
businesses, but not when I have to factor in seriously high prices just to park. It would be acceptable to park for $2 or $3
- but not $8.
