To the council members,
Please seriously consider reducing the cost of parking in downtown. With inflation affecting the price of regular
necessities, the average household thinks twice before spending money on unnecessary shopping, which is what most of
the downtown shops are. With the price of parking increasing as it has, an additional barrier to business is put in place.
All of the businesses in downtown have experienced loss of business since the parking rates have increased.
The high rates are not good for SLO families and they aren’t good for SLO business.
