Use caution when deciding to open attachments, click links, or respond. So a bunch of bike lanes facilitate people on bikes, but bicyclists are not shopping in town or going out to eat. They're just passing through. Four dollars an hour to park, until 9 pm, makes a twelve dollar surcharge on seeing a movie (Oppenheimer was my last movie in town. Forever, if parking stays like this.) An hour's free parking at a location ten minutes walk from most of downtown.... gives almost no value to someone who wants to enjoy a nice meal out. You can't park, order and enjoy a meal, and get back in that amount of time. And if you're trying it, forget about wandering around to shop afterwards because... parking surcharges for shopping. But in Arroyo Grande? I can park for free and shop, eat, and watch movies. So that's what we do. We miss SLO, but not enough to pay this much for parking. There are also fewer homeless people to dodge and evade in AG. It's the nice little town SLO used to be. I'm sorry Palm Theater, I really miss you. Patty Smith Get Outlook for iOS 1
