Dear City Council
I thank you for giving consideration to revising the parking fees in downtown San Luis Obispo. I strongly
support and recommend reducing the fees in order to encourage more locals as well as tourists to visit
downtown and support our local businesses.
The only thing positive about the recent hikes in downtown parking fees is that there is generally significant
spaces to park in the downtown parking structures…… though the downtown merchants I am sure do not see
this as positive.
I feel a healthy downturn SLO is beneficial to us all.
