Good morning Mr. Goode,
We live across from the proposed 4 story building project at 460 Pacific.
While we will not be able to a?end 12/4/23 mee?ng that will address this project, we would like to go on record that we
oppose the size/height of this project. Our neighborhood consists of one and two story structures…4 stories seems
extremely visually abusive and abnormal.
Other concerns include:
1. Pacific Street parking is already at a crisis level because of our proximity to down town and the high price of parking
down town. The overflow comes to our neighborhood. This new structure would have to have adequate parking off
streets for its tenants.
2. Do we really need another apartment structure with high prices that people can’t afford?
3. How will the garbage pickup be incorporated into current services?
4. Light pollu?on from a 4 story structure could make it seem like daylight 24 hours. This is not a neighborhood
environment that we would want to live in.
The last point we want to share is that from our dining room table we see the beauty of San Luis Mountain. We see the
lighted Christmas tree during the holidays. We see the lighted cross during Easter. A four story building across the street
would obliterate our view and sense of community we love and value. We respec?ully ask that you don’t take that
blessing away.
