Inspector Comments: Note: Hood extinguishing system is due to for six-month inspection. Per inspection tag
affixed to the manual pull station for system inspection was conducted 09/2022, License No. 677813. Following
inspection, the contractor of record is required to upload the Title 19 Inspection report into The Compliance Engine
website for review by SLOFD Fire Prevention staff.
Note: Manual pull station for hood extinguishing system found obstructed during inspection. Pull station appears to
be blocked by cooking equipment. Business owner directed to relocate equipment and provide access to pull
station as noted above.

Note: Cooking appliance (oven) found plugged in on a portable extension cord inside kitchen area. Portable
extension cord found plugged into kitchen receptacle supplying power to a mobile food preparation vehicle (food
truck) located in the back parking lot.
Business owner directed to provide a permanent wiring source for the cooking appliance. Business owner directed
to provide a permanent electrical power supply for the mobile food preparation vehicle. Recommend contacting a
licensed electrician. If required by the scope of work, an electrical permit can be obtained from the City Building
Department.

Building owner(s) directed to address the following items prior to requesting a follow-up inspection:
1) Schedule and conduct annual inspection for all fire extinguishers installed on the property. See comments noted above.
2) Repair (or replace) emergency exit lighting as noted above.
3) Repair (or replace) panic hardware on the main exit door as noted above.
4) Post occupant load signage in building location(s) as noted above.
5) Provide record of flame-retardant treatment for the interior decorative materials inside the Main Hall as noted above.
Business owner(s) directed to address the following items prior to requesting a follow-up inspection:
6) Schedule and conduct six-month inspection for the hood extinguishing system. See comments noted above.
7) Address temporary electrical wiring inside the kitchen area as noted above.
Upon completion of items No. 1-7, please contact the SLOFD Inspection Line (805) 783-7775 to coordinate a follow-up
inspection.
