One important funding source which I hope can be considered is offering naming rights to the Natural Reserve. Although perhaps of nostalgic value, "Laguna Lake" is a silly name anyway considering its redundancy. I've had several visiting guests over the years comment on the strangeness of the name. Also, I believe there would be wide support for a city -wide tax assessment given the obvious value of the lake to all in the area. I have lived across town for 34 years and would support this.
