HomeMy WebLinkAboutR-9642 DECLARING EQUIPMENT AS SURPLUS PROPERTYRESOLUTION NO. 9642 (2004 Series) A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LUIS OBISPO DECLARING EQUIPMENT AS SURPLUS PROPERTY WHEREAS, the City Charter requires that the Council approve the sale or disposal of surplus property with an estimated value greater than $100; and WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works has identified equipment no longer needed by the City. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of San Luis Obispo as follows: SECTION 1. The following items are no longer need by the City and are surplus property: 1. One Sequall Team Work with 6 compressors and 6 ATFs, 220 volts, on a single mounting platform. 2. One CWT 12 cell, 220 volt ozone generator. 3. Two 2 HP, 220/480, 3 ph, Whisper Flow booster pumps. 4. Two 8 ft. tall contact chambers. 5. Two "J" shaped vacuum breakers. 6. Miscellaneous parts: 4 complete cells, 4 glass tubes, 2 aluminum cell housings, 6 brushes, 1 circuit board, 1 Whisper Flow pump housing with seal and impellor. SECTION 2. Disposal of the property shall be made by sale at public auction or by another method of disposal in accordance with the City's surplus property policy as determined by the Director of Finance and Information Technology to be in the best interest of the City. Upon motion of Vice Mayor Ewan, seconded by Council Member Mulholland and on the following roll call vote: AYES: Council Members Brown, Mayor Romero NOES: None ABSENT: None Mulholland and Settle, Vice Mayor Ewan and The foregoing resolution was adopted this 4`h day of January 2005.
