It is the intention of Grantors hereinafter mentioned that

EDISON A. -FRENCH and FRANCES A. FRENCH, (hereinafter "Grantors ")

City,,'. of San Luis Obispo, (hereinafter "Grantee ") the following
real property in the City of San Luis Obispo, County of San Luis
Obispo, State of California, more particularly described in Exhibit.
"A" attached hereto and incorporated by reference, to its heirs or
assigns, upon the condition that the above described property
forever remain in its natural state, and forever be and remain
open space, and that no buildings or structures of any kind.be
erected thereon.
It being expressly understood and agreed by and between
Grantors and Grantee, that in case Grantee ceases to use the
above - described property, as and in the manner and for the uses
and purposes, and with the limitations and upon the conditions
hereinabove set forth, that then and in that..case the property

official plat of the survey of said

California, according to the
lands approved by-the Surveyor
Excepting.therefrom one -half of all minerals, mineral substances,
oil and gas of every sort and description within and under said
land, as reserved by 0. Wesley Baker and Lola S. Baker, husband
and wife, in deed recorded August 28, 1952 in Book 673, at page
186 of Official Records.
Also excepting therefrom that portion conveyed to C. A. Maino and
May R. Maino, husband and wife, as Joint Tenants, in recorded
January 4, 1956 in Book 831, at page 253 of Official Records.
PARCEL 2: An easement for ingress, egress and public utilities over
and across the existing road located on that portion of the Southeast
quarter of the Southeast quarter of Section 27, Township 30 South,
Range 12 East, Mount Diablo Meridian, in the City of San'Luis Obispo,
County of San Luis Obispo, State of California, remaining in the
name of the Trustors herein.
PARCEL 3: Th.at the portion of the north half of the southeast quarter
of Section 27, Township 30 South, Range 12 East, Mount Diablo
Meridian, partly in the city of San Luis Obispo, according to the
official plat of the survey of said land on file in the Bureau of
Land Management, described as follows:
Beginning at the southwest corner of the northwest quarter of the
southeast quarter of said section; thence North 89° 4.9' East 1270.21
feet to the southwest corner of the land conveyed to John B. Nelson,
et ux. by deed recorded March 23, 1948 in book 471, page 404, Official
Records; thence North 15° 00' West along the southwesterly line
of the land conveyed by said deed, 668.62 feet to the southwesterly
corner of the land conveyed to O. E. Northey by deed recorded
April 6, 1925 in book 1, page 305, Official Records; thence North
39° 42' West along the southwesterly line of the land thereby
conveyed 166.11 feet; thence South 761 29' West 1030.65 feet to a
point in the centerline of said section; thence South 1° 11' East
along said centerline 536.80 feet to the point of beginning.
Said parcel is also shown on a licensed surveyor's map of survey
recorded March 1, 1956 in book 7, page 121 of Record of Surveys in the
office of the county recorder of said county.

THIS IS TO CERTIFY that the interest in real property conveyed by
the 'Gift Deed
dated October 27 1980, from Edison A. French and
Francis A. French
to the CITY OF SAN LUIS OBISPO, a Political Corporation, is hereby
accepted by the undersigned officer on behalf of the City Council
pursuant to authority conferred by Resolution No. 549 (1959 Series),
recorded May 26, 1959, in Volume 1002, Official Records, Page 292,
San Luis Obispo County, California, and the Grantee consents to
recordation thereof by its duly authorized officer or his agent.
