We hereby give our permission to the City of San Luis Obispo to install,
construct, operate, maintain, and re Pair a buried electrical cable across
our property on Stenner Creek Road within.existing waterline easements.
Legal description of the existing easements are attached hereto as Exhi-
bits 'A' and 'B', respectively. The cable shall link a water level indi-
cator in the tunnel (between -the Santa Margarita Reservoir and the hydro
plant) to a read -out device.at the hydro plant site.
Executed this 5th day of October, 1982, at San Luis Obispo, California.

A perpetual easement of right -of -way to construct,- operate, maintain, patrol,
reconstruct., repair, remove, replace, increase and /or change the number and /or size
of pipes, pipe lines and appurtenances for the conveyance of water over, under, along
and upon a strip of land of the uniform width of 40 feet, and to enter by the United
States' servants, agents and employees upon the said 40 -foot strip for the purpose
of maintaining, repairing, or.replAcing said water pipe line, provided that the said
pipe line with its appurtenances shall be constructed and located within the middle
20 feet of the said 40 -foot strip, the center line of said 40 -foot strip of land
being particularly described as follows:
Being portions of Lots 1 and 9 of Rancho Potrero De San Luis Obispo, as said
lots are shown and so designated upon the map attached to the report of the Commissioners
in partition in Action entitled "Manuel Serrano et al. vs. Hipolito Serrano et al"
filed in the office of the Clerk of the Superior Court of the State of California
in And for the County of San Luis Obispo December 19, 1887, particularly described
as follows: Beginning at a point designated as Point "X" in the nor- therly boundary
of land-hereinbefore described as Parcel A, which point is distant North 65 degrees
55 minutes West 228.26 feet from the Northeasterly corner of said Parcel A; running
thence North 24 degrees 05 minutes East 633.50 feet to a point; thence North
28 degrees 31 minutes East 692.99 feet to a point; thence North 1.9 degrees 41
minutes East 442.93 feet to a point; thence North 12 degrees 21 minutes East 458.22

Potrero De San Luis Obispo County, California, Lot 1 being known in the Official
Records as "Lot 1 of Rancho Potrero De San Luis Obispo as per decree of partitions
entered into December 19, 1887 in the action of Manuel Serrano et al, plaintiff,
against Hipoli.to Serrano et al, defendant, in.the Superior Court of San Luis Obispo
County, California, Recorded March 7, 1889, on Page 568, Volume 3, of Deeds of
said County ", for the location, construction, operation, maintenance and repair
of a water pipe line., said easement constituting a strip of land 50 feet on each
side of a certain line described as follows:
Commencing at a point on the north boundary of said Rancho, said point known
in Official Records as S -11, thence South 20 degrees 59.minutes.55 seconds West;
(Recorded as South 20 degrees 40 minutes West) 1484.22 feet along the easterly line
of said Lot 1 to the point of beginning; thence South 56 degrees 33 minutes 22 seconds
West; 91.9.18 feet; thence South 70 degrees 19 minutes 38 seconds West, 1156.91.feet;-
