Hello,
I’m a student who currently lives on campus and will be living in the foothill/highland neighborhood next year.
I’m planning on biking to school, and I am unable to make tomorrow evenings meeting on roadway improvements, so I
writing to you here.
I’m writing to ask about the foothill and California intersection and if there will be upgrades made to that intersection
and foothill entirely to make it safer for bikes, especially commuters during the busy AM and PM hours.
I am studying civil engineering with a focus on transportation engineering at Cal Poly and interned in the transportation
division of a city of a similar size as SLO this past summer.
I am also on the board of Institute of Transportation Engineers. I would love to share any of the city’s upcoming projects
with our members.
