This course is designed with an emphasis on combat survival shooting and allows more opportunities to practice proper loading and returning fire under limited time constraints. An additional
benefit of this course is that it incorporates multiple target acquisition and engagement.
Materials:
31 Ammunition per officer, Loadout: 11/10/10
Two targets per shooter
Three shooters at a time. Each shooter will stand between two lanes, for example: shooter one will be between lanes 1 and 2, shooter two will be between lanes 3 and 4, shooter three
will be between lanes 5 and 6.
Targets will be numbered: 1, 2, 1, 2, 1, 2
3 YARD LINE:
On the movement of the targets, officers will draw and engage target#1 with three (3) rounds and cover. (3 Seconds)
On the movement of the targets, officers will draw and engage target#2 with three (3) rounds and cover. (3 Seconds)
Holster when it is safe to do so.
Tactical movement to the 7-yard line.
7 YARD LINE: With Flashlight in hand. (Harries or Chapman)
Draw your flashlight.
On the movement of the targets, officers will draw and engage target#1 with two (2) rounds and target#2 with two (2) rounds, tactical reload, and cover. (10 seconds)
Holster when it is safe to do so.
Tactical movement to 10 Yard line.
10 YARD LINE: Utilizing weapon light.
On the movement of the target, draw and fire three (3) rounds on target#1 with strong hand, two-handed, and cover. (5 Seconds)
Transition to support hand, two-handed grip.
On the movement of the targets, Draw and fire three (3) rounds on target#2 and cover. (5 seconds)
Holster when it is safe to do so.
Move to the 20 yard line.
20 Yard Line: Weapon light.
On the movement of the targets, Draw and fire Four (4) rounds on target#1, drop to kneeling and combat reload, and fire four (4) rounds on target#2, cover the target. UNTIMED
Recover to standing.
Holster
Administrative unload.
130 points possible (26 rounds fired). Passing= 90 points (70%)
