The PETRA GROUP, A California Corporation, as GRANTOR, hereby
grants to the City of San Luis Obispo, a Chartered Municipal
Corporation, as GRANTEE,
An Easement for future road slope (grading) purposes over the
land as described in attached EXHIBIT A, and shown pictorially on
attached EXHIBIT B.
Provided however that the normal maintenance of the property,
including weed abatement, shall remain the responsibility of the
GRANTOR, his heirs and assigns, until such time as road
improvements are installed.

SUBJECT: Deeds for Future Bishop St. Realignment for
Future SPRR Overpass - Tract 1827
Please have the attached deeds accepted by the Mayor on behalf of
the City, as follows:
The attached deeds executed by The Petra Group provide for the
future realignment of Bishop St. between Bushnell St. and the
SPRR R /W, and for a slope easement to accommodate necessary
grading to elevate the road across the railroad. This is a
condition of Tract No. 1827, which provides for a partial
abandonment of the present Bishop St. R/W to accommodate the
tract, as approved.
Although that tract will probably not be pursued, another tract
is proposed to be submitted with a different development.
proposal, as individual lots, rather than a condominium. That
proposal must provide for the same alignment, which is fixed due
to design restraints.
The subdivider has indicated his agreement to record these
documents at this time. Please transmit a copy of the recorded
documents for our file.
