I respectfully submit my comments on the proposed Welcome Home Village currently slated for Bishop at
Johnson. I do so as a home owner on Flora Street.
This is an illy conceived notion with few to no studies supporting why this would make a good spot. The
proposal for the South Higuera site made a good deal of sense given proximity to 1) homeless, 2) medical
treatment, 3) goods and services available, and 4)NOT planted among an established residential area as a
little experiment.
I urge more studies and a slower pace. At this time, I am not in favor of proceeding in any fashion without more
information.
