Dear City Council, Stop the lunacy! You are slowing killing downtown SLO. You know it’s bad when the retailers ask the locals for help wri?ng parking recommenda?ons to the city, and when your daughter is thoroughly confused with SLO parking when visi?ng, and she grew up in SLO a?ending MCP! Recommenda?ons: STOP the construc?on of any further protected bike lanes and bike lanes CONSOLIDATE on-line parking apps and the eliminate surcharges ELIMINATE parking pay sta?ons, or at least use the same app across all of them FREE parking on SUNDAY, both garage and metered parking I’d love to see the third lane back. Traffic is pain now. Bike lane usage is a JOKE. I’m a cyclist, and will NOT ride downtown, the bike lanes are way too dangerous. Can certainly cite examples! BTW, Chorro from downtown to Foothill is horrible. I hope these recommenda?ons are helpful and will turn the ?de in ge?ng locals back to downtown. Right now it’s too cumbersome and confusing to sort out parking and paying while also expensive for enjoying yourself downtown. Sincerely, Ron Sexton 965 Goldenrod Lane SLO CA 93401 1
