All I can say is PLEASE STOP MESSING WITH OUR STREETS TO BENEFIT PEOPLE ON BIKES!!!!!!
Especially on lower Higuera; it’s been a nightmare for as long as I can remember and these ‘plans’ will only make it
worse. Many seniors live between Madonna & LOVR.
Not to men?on that many on bikes don’t follow the rules of the road anyway with what’s already been done.
Many of our streets need to be repaved and just repaired with a lick and a promise as they are being done now!
It’s the motorists that pay the already too high taxes to maintain the streets, not the ones that don’t have cars. When do
we get the benefits?
Because of what was done on Chorro, I won’t drive on it anymore to go from that area downtown to Foothill or vice
versa; it’s too dangerous. So have to go the longer way around which means more ?me and emissions, etc.
And don’t get me started on roundabouts, like the one on Buchon. And it’s in addi?on to the speed humps.
Fix our streets, curbs, sidewalks, add more street cleaning.
The crossing at Elks Prado Rd. overpass should have been done many years ago before the price skyrocketed! And it will
need an off-ramp on the southbound side besides the on-ramp.
All of those & other similar things should be addressed before spending any more of my and others hard earned gas and
other tax dollars on items that won’t benefit those that don’t ride bikes.
