Dear City Council, My name is Jenny Martin, and I am a resident in SLO. I am sharing my support, in line with Downtown SLO’s Board of Directors, for Option B of the Parking Rate Study recommendations presented by Dixon Unlimited. This option offers the most affordable parking rates downtown, addressing the primary concern expressed by respondents in the Parking Rate Study. I support this parking rate plan because I have found that I go downtown much less since parking became more expensive and difficult to use. I volunteer at SLO Rep, and many if not most of our patrons are retirement age. The parking situation , especially using an app to pay, has discouraged many patrons and I hear complaints from them frequently about prices and difficulty using the parking machine or apps. Thank you for your consideration Jenny Martin 2078 Fixlini St, SLO, CA, 93401 jeni452@gamil.com 1
