Hi, and thanks for being willing to take input regarding the parking situation downtown… Luckily, I’m still able to walk
from the streets that don’t charge for parking into town but many of my friends and neighbors struggle to walk the
distance, and the cost to park close enough for them to get from here to there is, well, exorbitant. Not too long ago, I
was walking past a family who was feeding their information into the meter, and I heard them say “guess that’s why we
don’t want to live here!”. Option B would be much more tolerable and I’m sure that businesses would do far better if it
weren’t so painful to park downtown.
