SPECIAL Meeting of the Active Transportation Committee
CALL TO ORDER
A Special meeting of the San Luis Obispo Active Transportation Committee was called to order
on Thursday, February 29, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Hearing Room located at 990 Palm
Street, San Luis Obispo, California, by Chair Mills.
ROLL CALL
Present: Committee Members Lea Brooks (vice chair), Jill Caggiano, Francine Levin,
Russell Mills (chair), Kimmie Nguyen, Garrett Otto and Jonathan Roberts
Absent: None
Staff: Ryan Caldera, Adam Fukushima and Luke Schwartz

ACTION: UPON MOTION BY COMMITTEE MEMBER ROBERTS, SECONDED BY
COMMITTEE MEMBER BROOKS, CARRIED 7-0, to recommend staff take the Active
Transportation Committee’s consensus comments into consideration as the project is further
developed.
ADJOURNMENT
The meeting was adjourned at 8:46 p.m. The next Regular Active Transportation Committee
meeting is scheduled for Thursday, March 21, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. in the City Council Hearing
Room, 990 Palm Street, San Luis Obispo, California.
