1 Ryan Stefanek No Work continued in the north west corner of the parking lot for the
early archeological testing. No culturally sensitive items were
found. During the testing for lead in the soil, multiple test pits
tested above the thread hold of 50 ppm. Lead tested in the soil
anywhere from surface level down to 8”, out of a precaution for
worker safety digging was imminently ceased once lead was
detected. Soil samples were sent to a testing lab to confirm onsite
testing results. All soil that tested positive was set aside in an
industry standard containment area and to be disposed of once
the official lab results are received. A total of 7 test pits tested
above the threshold. All pits were backfilled with new soil or
decomposed granite and compacted, and any pits in the asphalt
parking area got infilled with concrete. No injuries or issues
reported to KITCHELL by onsite staff above what was document
in the above notes.
