1 Tally Richtsmeier No Kitchell, Coastal Demo, and Edwards arrived on site around 6:45
am. No construction noise was made prior to 7:00 AM. Kaylee
with Rincon and Catherine with Rincon arrived on site around
7:00 AM. First truck arrived on site around 7:00 AM. Kitchell,
Rincon, and Coastal Demo walked through the Waste Manifest
process and emphasized that the 3 pages with the 3 different
signatures will need to be compiled at the end of the project.
Coastal Demo set up truck scales to weigh outgoing soil tonnage.
Coastal Demo Loader broke down and was not able to be used
for the day. Trucks were loaded with excavator. First truck left site
heading to Kettleman at 8:30. Second truck left site at 8:50. Two
more trucks left site today for a total of FOUR truck loads to
Kettleman.
Around 12:30, it was observed that a Quinn mechanic arrived on
site to work on the belt on the large excavator. At this point the
loader was running once again. 1 foot of soil excavation had
continued in the Southwest corner of the site. At this point, 1/3 of
the soil on site has been excavated 1'. Roughly estimating, about
7% of the total soil to be removed has been off hauled from site.
Rincon Archeologist found no items of significance.
Kaylee with Rincon did not voice any concerns to Kitchell of the
condition of trucks leaving site today.
Coastal Demo and Edwards demobilized for the day around 1:45
PM as the designated stockpile reached capacity and no
additional tarps were on hand. Edwards stopped by site and
readjusted the fence and sandbags around 4:00 as winds are
