1 Ryan Stefanek No Edwards, Coastal, and Kitchell arrived on site around 6:45 and no
construction noise was produced before 7:00 am. At 7:01 the 1st
of 4 trucks arrived and loading on soil began. 4 trucks were
loaded and left site before 8:00am.
Rincon arrived onsite around 7:00am and was seen taking soils
readings from the stock pile and inspecting the trucks before they
left site. Kitchell walked the fence line around 7:45 after the issues
with yesterdays fence.
At around 12:30 Kitchell received a call from Rincon that a
potential cultural artifact that may be important to the local Native
American tribes had been found onsite. Kitchell meet Rincon, the
City, and Edwards onsite to document and discuss. The
consensus was that Rincon will write up a report with their
findings and the artifact will be stored at Rincon's office until
further direction is provided.
Kitchell was informed that a total of 8 truck loads of dirt had left
site, making the weekly total 20 truck loads. At this time roughly
50% of site has been cleared of the 1' of soil with 20 - 25%
removed and hauled to Kettleman city.
No accidents or incidents were reported to Kitchell Today.
