1 Tally Richtsmeier No Kitchell, Coastal Demo, and Edwards, and Rincon soils monitor
arrived on site at 6:45 am. No construction noise was made prior
to 7 am. Rincon archeologist and tribal monitor arrived on site
around 8 am. Off haul began, and waste manifests were delivered
by Rincon. A total of 11 truckloads of soil were sent to Kettleman.
Ramp asphalt removal was also completed by EOD. Rincon
reported that plastic was used when off haul trucks entered on
site soil during the day.
When Kitchell and Edwards arrived back on site later in the day, it
was observed that a roll off truck had backed up onto the ramp
without plastic. Kitchell and Edwards immediately pointed out that
this needs to be remedied and it was addressed promptly. No
concerning amounts of soil left site and the street and sidewalk
were swept well at the end of the day. No items of archeological
significance were found. No accidents or incidents were reported
to Kitchell.
