1 Meghan Schmeiser No Walked perimeter; approved signage in-place. Fence screen still
down in areas due to previous weather events. Temp fence and
screen placed in apartment parking area.
2 Tally Richtsmeier No Maintenance was performed on the drill rig this morning around 7
AM and around 10 AM. Arborist arrived on site at 8:20 to witness
drilling of Pier 39 bordering the trees at the property line on the
South East corner of site.
Piles 36 and 39 were drilled. 36 was complete with concrete and
slurry and 39 slurry was not completed. Slurry was completed on
remaining piles from yesterday. See attached log for more detail.
Deliveries included tieback tendons and steel weld plates for
retaining wall system. Steel beams for temporary retaining wall
had arrived yesterday (3/12) and Kitchell backchecked material
against approved submittal. Filter fabric for back of shoring wall
delivered yesterday, (3/12) and backchecked against approved
submittal. See daily log photos for more detail.
3 Ryan Stefanek No Swinerton, McMahon, and KITCHELL arrived around 6:45 and
noise was produced until 7:00 am. Rincon, Earth Systems, and
the tribal monitor arrived around 7:00am. Work continued along
the eastern property line with drilling, placing, and filling the
soldier beam piers. Only two piers were drilled today, due to
maintenance on the drill rig.
Around 8:00 the City’s contractor arrived to remove the hedge
and fence between site and the apartment complex parking area.
Work was completed in the area by around 10:30 and Swinerton
installed water barriers and temp fencing between site and the
apartment complex.
No accidents or incidents were reported to KITCHELL today.
