1 Meghan Schmeiser No Walked perimeter; approved signage in-place. Fence screen still
down in areas due to previous weather events. Temp fence and
screen in-place between site and apartment parking area. Cones
placed at "Manager" parking spot at apartment complex. See
photos for further detail.
2 Tally Richtsmeier No Drilling began on beams #10 and #2 the east retaining wall.
Beams were placed and filled with 4000 psi 3/8" crushed rock
and 1.5 sack slurry. Existing shoring wall by apartment complex
was braced with shoring jacks and concrete Deadmen to prepare
for drilling in that area (See daily log photos). Work continued on
pulling cable through the welded posts for temporary fall
protection on top of the retaining wall.
04.30.24: Correction on typo above. "4000 psi 3/8" crushed rock"
should read 4000 psi 3/8" crushed rock CONCRETE.
3 Ryan Stefanek No Kitchell, Swinerton, and McMahon arrived onsite around 6:45
with no noise producing activities occurring before 7:00. Rincon,
Earth Systems, and the tribal monitor arrived around 7:00am.
Work moved to the north eastern corner of site with the redrilling
of pier 2 and the new drilling of pier 10. Meeting with City,
Kitchell, and Swinerton was held onsite to discuss the existing
retaining wall and Swinerton's approach to pier installation in this
area.
No Accidents or incidents were reported to Kitchell.
