1 Meghan Schmeiser No Walked perimeter; approved signage in-place. Fence screen still
down in areas due to previous weather events. Temp fence and
screen in-place between site and apartment parking area. Snow
fence in place at south end of apartment parking lot. See photos
for further detail.
2 Ryan Stefanek No
Kitchell, Swinerton, Griffith and McMahon arrived onsite around
6:45 with no noise producing activities occurring before 7am. As
no soil disturbing activities were being preformed no consultants
were onsite. Earth System soils engineer and IOR were both
onsite to observe lagging and post slurry backfill. Off haul of soils
began around 7:00 with the loading of trucks on Palm street.
Traffic control was in place with signs, cones, and 2 flaggers
around the work area.
McMahon's team was onsite excavating and lagging as well as
slurry backfill between the soils and the lagging. Also additional
work was being done to prepare the tieback pockets for
installation.
No accidents or incidents were reported to Kitchell today.
3 Tally Richtsmeier No No new equipment or deliveries were noted today, but it was
observed that the Portland Cement is being stored outside. Work
today included soil off haul, excavating in preparation for lagging,
lagging, and slurry backfill, delivered and beginning at 2:30. See
daily log photos for pre-slurry condition behind the beams.
