1 Tally Richtsmeier No Excavator and mini ex delivered to site in AM.
2 Meghan Schmeiser No Walked perimeter; approved signage in-place. Fence screen still
down in areas due to previous weather events. Temp fence and
screen in-place between site and apartment parking area. Snow
fence in place at south end of apartment parking lot. See photos
for further detail.
3 Ryan Stefanek No Swinerton, KITCHELL, Smith, and McMahon arrived onsite
around 6:45 with no noise producing activities occurring before
7am. Earth Systems soils engineer and tribal monitor arrived
around 7am. Work continued on Dana street for underground dry
utilities. Traffic plans for Dana street were reviewed and minor
corrections were needed and implemented. McMahon continued
work onsite with tieback installation and lagging. Tie back at
soldier pile 19 was finished and grouted and the tie back at 21
was drilled and grouted. No post grouting was performed today.
Lagging continued between piers 10-13. At roughly 12:30 a
meeting was held between Earth Systems GEOR, IOR, Swinerton
Superintendent and KITCHELL to discuss a different approach to
allow permeability of the shoring wall where the final grade will be.
The agreed upon approach would be to install drainage rock that
is wrapped in filter fabric in lieu of the drainage board. An official
sketch and RFI was to be submitted for review and sign off from
the EOR.
No accidents or incidents were reported to KITCHELL today.
