1 Meghan Schmeiser No McMahon continued tieback and lagging installation. Lagging
between #13 and #14. Drilling at #14 and #16 tiebacks. PVC
weep holes installed at lagging #1-12 per RFI 61.2. Ejections and
soldier beam surface bubbling observed at #14, #15, and #21
during #16 drilling (see videos). Smith continued dry utilities on
Dana Street. Walked perimeter; approved signage in-place.
Fence screen still down in areas due to previous weather events.
Temp fence and screen in-place between site and apartment
parking area. Snow fence in place at south end of apartment
parking lot. See photos for further detail.
2 Meghan Schmeiser No VIDEO: observed ejections at tie back #21 and soldier beam
surface bubbling #14 and #15 during #16 drilling
3 Ryan Stefanek No Swinerton, KITCHELL, Smith, and McMahon arrived onsite
around 6:45 with no noise producing activities occurring before
7am. Earth Systems soils engineer and tribal monitor arrived
around 7am. Work continued on Dana street for underground dry
utilities with cutting and removal of asphalt and concrete. Traffic
plans for Dana street were reviewed and were installed per plan.
McMahon continued work onsite with tieback installation and
lagging. Tie back at soldier pile 14 was drilled and grouted and
the tie back at 16 was drilled and grouted. No post grouting was
performed today.
No accidents or incidents were reported to KITCHELL today.
