1 Meghan Schmeiser No Walked perimeter; approved signage in-place. Fence screen still
down in areas due to previous weather events. Smith MEP traffic
plan in place on Dana St. Temp fence and screen in-place
between site and apartment parking area. Snow fence in place at
south end of apartment parking lot. See photos for further detail.
2 Tally Richtsmeier No Lagging and drainage rock was installed working from tieback 13,
South. Welder on site welding plates on prior to stressing. Tieback
stressing began today around 10:45 AM at tieback 13. SOHA
Engineer and Earth Systems inspectors on site to observe.
Tiebacks 14, 15, 16 , and 17 were stressed. Post grouting took
place for tiebacks 22, 23, 24 , 25, 27, and 28.
Dry Utility work continued on Dana Street.
3 Ryan Stefanek No Swinerton, Kitchell, McMahon, and Smith arrived onsite before
7am and no noise producing activities occurred before 7am. Tie
back testing was preformed starting with tie back 13 and
witnessed by the shoring wall EOR and GEOR for the project.
Additional lagging was preformed and onsite coordination
between EOR and GEOR for final condition of retaining wall for
permeability at grade level was also preformed. Swinerton to
follow up with an RFI for record. Additional post grouting was
preformed on the previously grouted tie backs with roughly 8 left
to post grout.
Smith continued work on Dana street with conduits for
communications and sand backfill with utility marking tape. City
inspector was onsite to witness compaction of sand, sand
placement, and utility marking tape. Kitchell communicated with
the Mortuary that work would be proceeding on Nipomo next
week.
No accidents or incidents were reported to Kitchell today.
