1 Meghan Schmeiser No Walked perimeter; approved signage in-place. Fence screen still
down in areas due to previous weather events. Temp fence and
screen in-place between site and apartment parking area. Snow
fence in place at south end of apartment parking lot. Traffic Plan
in place on Nipomo St. See photos for further detail.
2 Meghan Schmeiser No Observed McMahon installing 3rd course lagging between P1-12
per RFI 61.2, including weep holes, pvc, filter fabric, and notches
for slurry. No slurry placed today.
3 Ryan Stefanek No Swinerton, Kitchell, McMahon, and Smith arrived onsite before
7am and no noise producing activities occurred before 7am.
McMahon continued work on the retaining wall starting at the
north end with lagging and additional work per RFI 61.2.
Safety concern was brought to Swinerton's attention on the south
side of the excavation for the vertical face of the soil wall at
Monterey street (see photos) . Swinerton confirmed they would
address the issue.
Water has also been observed in the bottom of the current
excavation for the retaining wall, current source of water appears
to be from the neighboring properties irrigation.
Due to subcontractor issues, no work on the site pad is
anticipated to occur this week.
Smith began work on the West side of Nipomo street on trench
layout with traffic control in place. Work also continued on the
PG&E vault on the west side of Nipomo sidewalk.
No accidents or incidents were reported to Kitchell today.
