The unmarked 4-inch steel line was removed during trenching. Two unmarked steel lines, one 8-inch and one 4-inch, were found perpendicular to the trench on the north side of Monterey. JMC brought out a vacuum trailer to excavate around these lines. The trench was backfilled and compacted approximately 6 feet from the curb. Jose Zarate tested compaction. I asked Richard and Davey if the number of bends for the AT&T conduit is acceptable for pulling the proposed fiber line, and if not, then changes need to be made prior to moving forward. Richard informed me that it is acceptable. Steve, with AT&T, removed the box from the power pole, and all but 3 lines that wrap on the proposed PG&E quadrant. Jake Mohmike was contacted regarding the remaining 3 lines that need to be moved. Catherine Johnson was present during excavations.
