Description of work:
Daniel Luna (PG&E), Catherine Johnson (Rincon), and Anthony Whipple were on site today.
The PG&E pad mounted transformer pad was set. The area was backfilled with sand and compacted. Smooth dowels, 18 inches long with 6-inch embedment were intalled in the concrete trench
section, per City Standard Trench Detail 1 (6020). Class 2 concrete was placed and consolidated with a vibrator, in the trench on Monterey, from the proposed new curb and gutter to
3 feet north on upper Broad. Trenching continued on upper Broad. Anthony Whipple arrived on site to assess a large root that was uncovered during trench excavations.
