Summary: On site to test Charter and ATT trench backfill on Broad St. Approximately 2 feet of
backfill. Upon arrival, contractor was compacting backfill using jumping jacks with approximately
1 foot of fill in place; observed placement, using a JD 210 tractor, and compaction of final 1 foot of
backfill. 4 passing compactions tests greater than or equal to 95% compaction.
