Good afternoon!
To date, Rincon has provided 12 full days and 3 half days of archaeological monitoring.
Today, Friday 2/17/2023, ground disturbing activities included continuing the trench west on Broad Street and finishing in the intersection of Broad Street and Palm Street. The crew
used hydro vacuum excavation to relocate the sewer line, which was approximately 8 feet 3 inches below the street level. The crew backfilled the pit and will revisit it in the future.
Tuesday, 2/21/2023, the construction crew will excavate the trench in the SLO History Museum parking lot.
