General Municipal Election
Tiresdayo November 5, 2002
To be eligible to vote, receive a sample ballot or
apply for an absentee ballot, you must be registered
to vote at your current address no later than
October 7ft.
You may register or re-register, no later than
October 21"t and still be eligible to vote; however,
you will not receive a sample ballot.

NOVEMBER 5TE IS ELECTION DAY
The City will have a municipal election onNovember 5'h this
year. City voters will be asked to elect a new mayor and two council
members. In addition, the Councilwill seek approvalto amendthe
CrW's Charter by adding provisions that will simpli$r Public Works
Crty's Mayor fornearly eightyears, is running for Cotrncil Member.
(Note: He is not eligible to run for Mayor again because of the term
limits).
John Ewan, who has served as a Council Member since
1998, is running for a second terrn on the City Council. Other
candidates for City Council include Paul Browno the owner of
Mother's Tavem, and Andrew Carter, a local writer.
