Use caution when deciding to open attachments, click links, or respond. To Whom It May Concern, I am writing on behalf of my clients, Hugo and Deborah Santana, who received notice of an alleged delinquent solid waste disposal and collection account, yesterday June 17, as they were heading out of state for vacation. The reason they did not receive notice until yesterday is due to the fact that Ms. Buckingham's letter notifying them of today's hearing was sent to the wrong address (the letter was mailed to a generic address without the Santanas space number). The Santanas alleged delinquent account is on today's City Council agenda item 6c. The Santanas are requesting a continuance of any decision regarding their account (and/or lien on their property) until they return to California next week. The Santanas are very concerned and would like to be heard as their account with San Luis Garbage was opened without their consent or their need and was the direct result of their property owner unilaterally (and illegally) amending the terms of their lease agreement which provided for free waste removal at the property owner's cost to now being the Santanas personal responsibility. Your courtesy and cooperation in this regard is very much appreciated. Earl E. Conaway, III, Esq. -- Earl E. Conaway, III EARL E.
