Around 30 people lose their lives each
year on roads in the SLO region.
An additional 140 people suffer
serious injuries.
Our goal is to reach zero by 2050.

Purpose
Having a Regional Road Safety Action Plan
will:
•help future grant funding opportunities
•prioritize road safety programs, strategies,
and locations
•engage the community to increase
awareness of road safety
•p rovide tools to inform decision -making
for current and future needs
•b ring a diverse set of road safety partners
together to share information
