SLO in Motion Update: Projects and Work Areas
1.North Chorro Neighborhood Greenway
•Roadway striping and markings are complete
•Remaining roadway work includes installation of
Greenway signage and planter box plants
•Plants will start being placed in planter boxes this week
•Roadway improvements expected to be complete by
end of June
2.2023 Arterials Paving Project
•Paving on Monterey is complete, with striping,
markings, and signage work continuing this week
•Contractor is replacing damaged sidewalk on Palm
street and will then pave Palm between Santa Rosa
and Toro
•Expected to be complete by end of June

Comprehensive User and Regulatory Fee Study
- July 2, 2024 Hearing
•The City periodically conducts a comprehensive analysis of City costs and fees and
updates fees by CPI in the years between comprehensive reviews
•Staff recently worked with a consultant to conduct a comprehensive analysis and will
recommend changes to the City's user and regulatory fees during a public hearing on
July 2nd
•Opportunities for public engagement:
•Visit the City's fee website at slocity.org/fees
•Submit written public comment
•Attend the public hearing on July 2nd
