RE: Public Records Act Request
Dear City Clerk,
Pursuant to VSS International’s rights under the California Public Records Act (Government Code
Section 6250 et seq.), We ask to (inspect/obtain a copy of) the bids for the Roadway Sealing
2024, Specification No. 2000615 which is outlined in greater detail below and which we
understand to be held by your agency:
- Copies of the apparent 1st place bidder (DOOLITTLE CONSTRUCTION.) bid package as
submitted on bid day 06/20/2024 at 11:00 am for the above referenced project.
We ask for a determination on this request within 5 days of your receipt of it, and an even more
prompt reply if you can make that determination without having to review the record[s] in
question. We also respectfully ask that no official award be made until we have been given the
full opportunity to review the bid packages and afforded the right to our bid protest
forthcoming in the event one is needed.
